Deploying in FileMaker Go

To use your calendar in FileMaker Go, simply create a web viewer with the URL shown.

We’ve designed our example file with a startup script to automatically check get(ApplicationVersion) to see if you’re connecting with FileMaker Go, and go to the correct layout if you are.

A couple of things to keep in mind with FileMaker Go Calendars:

• FileMaker Go can’t use plug-ins. As a result we suggest selecting “Server-Side Async” for the calendar you’re using in Go. A future version of the calendar may allow you to also run a script in the Go UI
• We always suggest copying and pasting our layout object into your solution. If you don’t, you should remember to anchor the calendar to all four sides of your layout so that it fills the layout in FileMaker Go.
• You can use the same web viewer parameters to filter your calendar and go to the right date or view by adding parameters to the URL in the web viewer. See FileMaker Pro Deployment for more details.
